Alright, and I'm back with another FO Friday project - the Sunshine Throw Blanket is done! I've been working on this blanket for the wonderful folks at KNITMuch
The yarn is two colours of Universal Yarns Mystical Marl - the (lots) of leftovers from the Holland Cowl. It was a great way to stashbust and use up a bunch of extra skeins that KNITMuch was kind enough to send me! (You'll be able to read the details of knitting this blanket over on the KNITMuch Blog!)The pattern called for a 5mm needle, but I went down to a 4.5 mm needle - partially because it's what I had on hand, and partially because I wanted a long enough circular to hold all the stitches (it's almost 200 stitches, so make sure you have a long enough needle!) The pattern also suggests using stitch markers to separate out the repeats, but I found the pattern simple enough that I didn't need them.
I actually finished this a bit ago but my (admittedly questionable) photography was thwarted by grey weather so I only now have a decent picture. (Bonus points to anyone who can spot the one end I missed weaving in that I only found when taking this photo - that's probably going to be tonight's fix!) Now, onto re-knitting the Christmas Hat!
