Hello, and welcome back, once again to WIP Wednesday; and we're almost done the first of the Impossible Geometry Socks!  Now yes, because I'm using Magic Loop, I could, in fact, have tried to knit these two-at-a-time. . . .however, the last time I knit socks two-at-a-time was an unmitigated disaster than ended in tangles, frogging, and tears.  So, I'll just stick to my one at a time socks, even if it takes a bit longer to get them both done.

I would have actually been -done- the socks if I'd remembered to pack them for my trip to the Hamilton Fibre Market!  I realized only upon looking for them when I was on the Go Transit Bus that I'd never put them in my bag!  They were sitting beside my computer, inside my *little project bag from KnittersNook which, of course, helped me not at all when I was on the bus!  But, luckily, my seatmate on the bus was great company; and we passed the time chatting instead!

The yarn is *Malabrigo Ultimate Sock in "Teal Feather", kindly given to me by Malabrigo Yarns as part of the Malabrigo Quickies program. I'm really enjoying this yarn, and the stretch it gives the sock (the stitch pattern isn't very stretchy, so any help there is very appreciated!)

a sock in progress on circular needles. The sock has a textured cable pattern and is knit in dark teal yarn. A stitch marker with a silver shell charm is clipped to the other side of the work.
Needles are my *Knit Picks Nickle-plated 2.25 mm circulars, and I don't know what else to say about
these needles that I haven't already said.  They're great workhorse needles.   Now, yes, I've bought better needles.  Those needles were 5 times the price of these ones; and honestly, the Knit Picks needles are better value.  The cord is just as flexible; the tips are just as smooth; - the -only- thing I would change about the Knit Picks needles is that the join between the cord and the needle tip isn't as smooth, so the sock yarn sometimes catches a teeny bit.  But, for me, that's not worth paying 5 times the cost, so I'd recommend these any day!

Stitch marker is the  *Ocean Shell Stitch Marker from *WineMakersSister's Etsy Shop.  It's a fun little embelishment to the socks, and I'm glad it's a lobster claw, because that means I can stick it in the work and don't have to worry about it falling off a needle tip!

What are you working on on this dreary WIP Wednesday?  Feel free to show it off in the comments, or, on the Discord! (And if you've made no progress on your WIP's and wish to commiserate, that's fine too!)
