Yarn is *WeCrochet Stroll Fingering in "Rhapsody" - which came my way as part of a yarn-support agreement with WeCrochet! I had a major issue with yarn-barf, but I wonder if that's just because the Stroll Fingering skeins may not be designed to be pulled from the centre out? I've only worked with Stroll once before, and re-balled it at the time. If anyone's used a Stroll Fingering skein as a centre-pull skein before, let me know in the comments, please?
Hook for this is my 3.5 (US E) *Laurel Hill Crochet Hook. I still can't say enough good things about these hooks - they're comfy, strong enough I can't snap them by accident, and made out of reclaimed exotic woods from old musical instruments!
And my beginning/end of round marker is a locking *Dolphin Stitch Marker from *NotionsEmporium. I actually found that this marker might have been a tad too big/heavy for the first few rounds of the work, as it was pulling on the work and causing it to twist a bit - but now that I'm 3 rounds into the pattern, it seems fine now.
Whelp, the Cherry Blossom Hat continues! After a (still in progress) search for the other half of the skein, I managed to get the few few rounds done over on Twitch!

Unfortunately, because of the yarn barf, I'm actually missing the a good chunk of the skein! I originally cut the yarn, balled up the yarn barf attached to the work, and put the skein aside. . . and now it's grown legs, and I have no idea where most of the skein is. Hopefully it reappears soon!

Have any of you ever had yarn disappear on you? Where did you find it (if you did?) Because any new ideas on where to look for the skein would be very appreciated!
