Whelp, it's FO Friday, and the Penny Hat is done!  It's been washed, steam-blocked, and had the labels sewn in --  (sadly, my *fabric pen is running out of ink, so the writing on the labels is kinda faint -- I'll have to get another pen soon)

A knit lace hat. Hat is knit in deep green tonal fingering-weight yarn.

The yarn is *Knit Picks Hawthorne Kettle-Dyed in the colourway "Serpent", and it's been wonderful to knit with!  It's a touch rougher on the hands then some of the other Knit Picks Sock yarns with Merino in the blend, but it's still been great to knit with.   I was worried about the colour maybe bleeding in the wash (deep blues/greens/reds are the worst culprits for colour bleeding, but it washed up just fine!)

As for needles, the needles I used are an old set of 2.75 circular mm needles, and then some 2.25 mm double-pointed needles for the ribbing.

Yeay for a project off the needles!  What about you -- got any finished Objects you want to share?  Post pictures in the comments of the blog! (Or, come join my Facebook Group if you're on Facebook, and share them there, too!)
