As for needles, the needles I used are an old set of 2.75 circular mm needles, and then some 2.25 mm double-pointed needles for the ribbing.
So yeay for a project I can share for WIP Wednesday! And if you want to show off your WIP Wednesday projects, feel free to post them in the comments, as I love ooh-ing and aah-ing over peoples amazing projects! (Please, no Ravelry project links though, as Ravelry is, unfortunately, still a seizure risk. But IG posts, Facebook posts, blog posts, or anything else is more then welcome, I'd love to see what you're working on!)
Welcome back to WIP Wednesday, and this time, I've got an almost-done project! The Penny Hat is off the needles, but still needs to be blocked and have the labels sewn in before it goes off to its home!
The yarn is *Knit Picks Hawthorne Kettle-Dyed in the colourway "Serpent", which I also am very much in love with! It's a touch rougher on the hands then some of the other Knit Picks sock yarns, but I'm really enjoying it! Right now, the hat is scrunched up and the kettle-dyed yarn is a bit busy, but I'm hoping it will even all out with blocking. I plan to block it over a baking bowl and see what that does to the lace. I also have to sew in my labels (since I'm selling this hat a as commission, the law says I have to have a label with fiber content and mailing address).
