Whelp, I did it, I finished the scarf

A pink scarf worked in bulky-weight yarn. The scarf is knit in garter stitch with a centre cable motif

The Statement Cable Scarf is going to be published as part of the Malabrigo Quickies Program, so the fact that it knits up so fast is absolutely perfect!

It takes 2 skeins of *Malabrigo Mecha (shown in "English Rose" and uses them up almost completely (I haven't weighed this yet, but it's not much yarn left at all!) that was wonderfully given to me as yarn support from the folks at Malabrigo!   It's a single-ply yarn, so I wouldn't suggest it for anything hard-wearing, but, for a scarf, it makes a wonderfully squishy, snuggly fabric, especially with the garter stitch!

I used 7 mm wooden needles from Turn of The Century, and I'm really happy with how well knitting on these worked out!

Now to get this out to my photographer and get the pattern written up!  Stay tuned soon for the test-knitting call!
