Welcome back to WIP Wed, the home edition!  We're not on quarantine or strict lockdown here, we can go out for walks and such, but not much is open.   Grocery stores are open, and restaurants are open but with strict guidelines and can only do take-away.  So there's been quite a bit of knitting! Sadly, most of it has been on a sample I can't show yet.  I have, however, finished a convertible mitten!

A knit convertible mitten, worn closed, with a cable pattern on the back of the hand. A white button is sewn in place just above the ribbing of the cuff.
Yarn is *Blue Sky Fibers Worsted Hand Dyes in "Dungaree Blue" knit on 3.25 mm double-points.  It's made a very dense-knit fabric, but I welcome it -- at only a few degrees over freezing, my hand is already getting too warm when I wear the one mitten!

I found two matching buttons in my button jar, and I'm happy with how they look!   I clipped the other button to the finished mitt, so there's no way I can lose it (ok, knowing me, I'll manage to find a way, of course)!

The loop at the top is I-chord, and that's the one part I'm not quite sure about yet.  I always knew I'd also include instructions for a sewn-in snap, as well, but I'm not 100 % sold on the loop for the button when it's worn as a full mitten.

What are these mittens going to be named?  No idea -- Patrons get to name them! Pattern Muses over on Patreon get to submit naming suggestions (just drop them in the comments), among other things!

So how goes everyone's crafting?   I hope folks are staying safe and well out there -- stay home and happy crafting!  And please, let me know in the comments, even just to say you're ok (or if you're not ok, that's fine too -- I'm happy to give virtual hugs to folks who need one in the comments!)
