Welcome back to WIP Wed, and oooh, Look! Convertible Mittens!

someone wearing a mitten in progress with a cable pattern along the back of the hand. The mitten is knit in blue aran-weight yarn and is on double-pointed needles.

Yarn is *Blue Sky Fibers Worsted Hand Dyes in "Dungaree Blue"  This yarn is glorious, and wonderfully squishy, though it does have annoying tendency to split. Needles are 3.25 mm Aero needles, which means that these mittens will be wonderfully dense and wind-proof!

I want to have the tops flip back and then will button them, I think.  I'm pretty sure I still have some leftover buttons from *TheWoodlot that I'm going to fish out of my button jar.

What am I going to call these?  Well, that's up to the Pattern Muses over on Patreon!  As a Pattern Muse, you get to have a say on this pattern (including possible colour choices for another sample), and, you can help name this pattern, too!

They're knitting up quite quickly, so I'm hoping to have them finished up soon.  How's everyone else's progress on WIPs?
