I'm working on my own sample-knit version, this one in *TurtlePurl Striped Turtle Toes yarn. This is in "Winter is Coming" which doesn't seem to be available any more, but there's lots of other fun colours in the shop!
Needles are *2.25 mm Hiya Hiya dpns (except for one longer dpn that's from a different set -- no one said I was organized, right?)
I've been working on these on Twitch, actually doing some tutorial filming for my Youtube Channel using these socks, so these will appear on my Youtube channel soon! I'll be thrilled to have a sock done, so then I take these as my transit knitting, rather then knitting them in front of the webcam.
