Welcome back to WIP Wed, and the last WIP Wed post of 2019 (how did that happen!  Eeek!)

A textured glove, knit with variegated dark green yarn. The cut ends of the yarn are dangling from the tips of the fingers and the bottom of the cuff.

Well, this means I have exactly a week to finish the Dragon Scale Gloves, and I'm doing relatively ok, with one glove done, and a second glove started!

These gloves are based on the same motif as my Silver Dragon Cowl, (and yes, I will be publishing these gloves at a future date!)

The gloves will be mirrored, like many of my mitten/glove designs are. I like having the slipped-stitch palm, both for texture and for durability. So far, I haven't knit two right hand gloves, and I'm rather hoping I don't!  Oh, and yes, this glove doesn't quite fit my hand properly -- this is Christmas Knitting, and it's going to someone with larger hands then me, so my attempts at modelling leave a bit to be desired.

Yarn is the now-discontinued Fleece Artist Merino 2/6 in "Spruce". It's 100% Merino, and it's knitting up quite nice and dense on *2mm (US 0) needles.  It pools quite differently on the fingers then the body of the glove, no surprise, but I'm still happy with it! And yes, I still have ends to weave in, but those won't take more then a minute or two!

Well, that's it for 2019!  So, a question, to round out the year on a high point -- what did you folks accomplish in 2019 that you're proud of?  It can be anything -- share in the comments below!
