Welcome back to WIP Wed! And the Hooded Cardigan continues -- one sleeve is done! The other sleeve. . . . needed to be ripped out. I made it far too big.
Yarn is Tanis Fiber Arts PureWash Fingering in "Ravine Sea". And I can say with confidence, it frogs very well! I've had a number of folks compliment me on the colour, and I wish I could say it was still available, but I was lucky enough to get it as a one-off colour through *Tanis Fiber Arts Etsy Shop!
Needles are my Addi 3.75 mm needles, and I've been using travelling loop to knit the sleeve on the same needles as the body sweater for less possibility of tension difference. But, like I mentioned on a previous Twitch Stream, my tension is still fluctuating between 5 and 6 stitches per inch, depending on where I'm knitting (subway knitting always seems to run a tad tighter); how tired I am, what I'm watching on Netflix, and a bazillion other variables. I'm glad I stuck to the same needles, I didn't need any further variables messing with my tension!

So, I knit up the second sleeve, and checked if that sleeve fit! The answer was, yes, it did! It took a touch of easing to get the set-in-sleeve sewn into the armhole, and I'm not 100% sold on that, but after recalculating several times, I'm not sure I want to redo it -again-. And a couple people who have seen the prototype quite like the look, so ok! With a couple votes of confidence, I frogged the first sleeve back to the first set of increases, and am re-knitting it again, with much better success.

In terms of getting this off the needles, I've been getting a lot of the sleeve work down while watching the various *Teachable Live broadcasts, which has been great -- if anyone is interested in branching their creative business into course creation, then the free workshops and broadcasts in Teachable Live will hopefully be very interesting! Yes, they're free (and yes, there's a sales pitch for *Teachable at the end of some of the workshops), but honestly, I've been using it to plan out my own online course (basically, how do alter and design knitting patterns using cables), and it's quite a good quality piece of software! And even if you're not looking at making an online course, if you're a fellow creative business person, the livestreams and broadcasts are still really helpful! I'll be watching the broadcasts today and tomorrow (September 25th and 26th) as well as their broadcast on the 27th that are reserved for folks who are customers, like me.
