Welcome back to WIP Wed! And the Hooded Cardigan continues -- I'm onto the sleeves!  I'm still about worried about yarn chicken and having enough for the hood, but, we shall see!

Yarn is Tanis Fiber Arts PureWash Fingering in "Ravine Sea". The sleeve has been done in my third skein (there's still some of the second skein left that I'm planning to alternate with for the hood); and so far so good on that risk of yarn chicken. .  but it depends on how much yarn the second sleeve takes, too.

Needles are my Addi 3.75 mm needles, and I've been magic looping (and as the sleeve got bigger, I switched to travelling loop) along on the sleeve.  While given my first choice, I prefer double-pointed needles, for the sleeve, I'm glad I didn't.  It means that a) the sleeves were knit on the same needles as the rest of the sweater, so there's no chance for any tension weirdness because of different needles; and b) the top of the sleeve would have had enough stitches to risk falling off the double-pointed needles.

The *Silver Rose stitch markers are still marking the cable for the sleeves -- I still seem to have trouble counting 10 stitches. It really does help just to keep me on track to have stitch markers for just about everything!

With all that said, though, I've not been knitting on this, though, and instead, doing the math to shape the sleeve cap.

From a fashion sense, I like set-in sleeves.  But from a design sense.  . well, it takes some work to make a sleeve cap that works.  So I've been doing the math for that, rather then actually knitting. I'm hoping that I might even finish the math today and can go back to knitting the rest of the sleeve today.   Wish me luck in the math-ing today!
