I'm thrilled to announce the testing call for my Wrought Mithril Hat!

This pattern has been in development since early January 2017 and is finally finished up enough and looking for testers!  It started as a project as part of Aroha Knits Initiate Knit Design Challenge, but took a bit more time to finally become a pattern!

A woman wearing a cable and lace beanie hat, knit in light blue yarn.
The hat is worked in the round in fingering-weight yarn.  Pattern is both written and charted, with written instructions as a second file to keep the pattern to a decent size -- both files will be sent to you as part of the test-knit.

The sample was made in *Northbound Knitting Merino/Silk Fingering but any fingering or sock yarn would work well -- I'd suggest a silk, bamboo or Tencel blend with a good bit of drape, but even a basic sock yarn blend would work well too.

Sample was made using a 3.25 mm (US 3) circular needle, but you can knit the pattern using whatever circular knitting method you would like! (And, as always, you should use whatever hook size gets you gauge!)

Anyway, if people are interested, sign ups are here on the Ravelry Thread! You will have to be a Ravelry.com member to view and post to the thread, but sign up is free, and Ravelry is an amazing resource!

The deadline for this test is January 15, 2019, so as to give folks lots of time to test over the holidays.  Testers who complete the test will receive the finished pattern for free, as well as one pattern of their choice from my self-published patterns.

Also, if you want to be notified on Ravelry about new testing calls, you can PM me on Ravelry to sign up in my test-knitter's thread. I'll also post testing calls here on the blog, and to my other social media platforms (Facebook, G+, Patreon, Instagram and Twitter), and, I'll send out calls to those on my mailing list, as well, so hopefully, anyone who's interested will see my testing calls.

Well, I hope you would consider being a tester! And, if this doesn't peak your interest, that's ok!

Thanks for reading, and until next time, folks! Happy crafting!
