Welcome to the April Crochet-Along with the Garden Trellis Hat! The update of old patterns continues, and this seemed like the perfect pattern to celebrate the start of Spring (especially since I still need a hat once the sun goes down!)

This hat is a sister pattern to the Garden Trellis Mittens, crocheted in the same yarn -- Scuttleship Romney from Bobolink Yarns (if you're looking for yarn, Bobolink Yarns Romney Fingering yarn is identical to the Scuttleship Romney!). It's a hat in three sizes, with a head circumference of 17.5 (22, 26) inches or 44.5, (56, 66 cm) -- designed a touch big to go over headphones, hair braids etc. With simple bobbles and post stitches, it's a good introduction to slightly more 'adventurous' crochet, while still being simple enough to work on while watching tv or commuting on the train!
Pattern is written in US Terminology.
