As always seems the case, I've got a bunch of patterns that are all launching at once, but, I'm starting with the Convolution Socks, now available in Knotions Magazine!

These cuff-down socks come in four sizes, ranging from a 6 inch cuff to a 9 inch cuff - the foot and leg length are adjustable (there are notes in the pattern, don't worry!)
The sample is shown in *Cascade Heritage - a 75% Superwash Merino Wool / 25% Nylon sock yarn - in the colourway "Strawberry Cream", in the medium size. Though the medium size technically calls for two skeins, it was only for a few extra yards - depending on your tension you may not need the second skein (you could also shorten the leg slightly, as well!)
They use 2 mm (US 0) needles, and can be worked on *circulars or *double-pointed needles, whichever you prefer. However, these knit at a very tight tension because of the cables, so I'd recommend metal needles - I'd be worried about snapping wooden ones!
The Cable Stitch pattern is both written and charted - it looks a bit complex because the cables spiral around the leg of the sock, but, the actual pattern is quite simple! Each size has it's own chart for the toe to make sure that all the decreases line up, so, when you're knitting these, pick the chart or written instructions that match up with your size!
So yeah - a new sock pattern! I really enjoyed making these, and I hope you will too! If you do knit them up, -- I love seeing what you make, or even what yarn you're considering! So please, tag your creations on Social Media with #SarahDawnsDesigns, (or share them in the Discord) so we can all see your awesome things!
I hope you enjoy the socks, and happy knitting!
