November Knit-Along and Pattern Sale: Diamonds and Lace Scarf

We've had the first frost warnings of the year, and it's definitely time for the cozy scarves, so the Diamonds and Lace Scarf is the Knit-Along Pattern for the month of November!   This heavy worsted  scarf knits up nice and quick in a simple lace pattern, so you can make yourself (or a loved one) a scarf in a hurry, to keep warm as the weather turns cold. 

Don't have the pattern?  That's not a problem, the Diamonds and Lace Scarf pattern is 50% off for the Knit-Along, right through the month of November.  You can get the pattern in my Web Shop, Etsy, Ravelry, and Patreon.  And patrons already have access to the pattern, you can download it in the Patreon Shop - this started life as a Patreon Exclusive pattern!

This lace scarf is made from less then 350 yards of worsted-weight yarn. It’s perfect to use up those orphan one or two skeins that are left over after making a sweater! It’s thick and warm, and is perfect for showing off self-striping or long colour change yarns, but will work up just fine in a solid or tonal as well!

 The sample is shown using Wisdom Yarn Poems in “Enchanted Forest” which is sadly now discontinued. Any aran or worsted-weight wool blend would substitute well. I'd suggest *Knit Picks Chroma Worsted or Freia Fine Yarns Ombre Superwash Worsted 

 Now, onto the important part, the Knit-Along Details!

 For the month of November,every finished scarf has a chance to win a $25 USD Gift Card from Knit Picks, or, a $30 CAD Gift Card from The Knitting Loft!  This choice is due to the Canada/US tariff situation; when I contact the winner, I'll ask them which shop they would prefer. 

Please note that the Knit Picks gift card is, unfortunately, only available if you are in the US or Canada. 

And, a reminder:  I am no longer taking entries here on the blog, as there have been issues with comments not coming through properly, and people not getting notified of replies.  I love seeing your projects in the comments, but, sadly, they don't count as KAL entries.
