A new month means a new crochet-along! With the birds finally chirping and taking flight, the Feather On The Wind Mittens seemed like the perfect pattern for the April CAL, - and if you don't have the pattern, don't worry, it's 50% off during the month of April! These squishy fingerless mittens, worked up in the feather stitch, are a great way to use up leftovers of yarn, and with a one-round repeat, they're perfect for any spring travel that might be coming your way too!

These fingerless mittens are squishy and as light as a feather, thanks to the beautiful Feather Stitch stitch pattern! These mittens are worked in the round until the thumb opening, worked back and forth to shape the thumb opening, and then finished in the round. The thumb and top of the mitten are edged in half double-crochet.
With only a one-round repeat, these mittens work up fast, and are perfect for a more portable project!
The Teal Sample was worked in *WeCrochet Gloss DK (70% merino, 30% silk), in "Kenai" and shown in size S. The Purple Sample was worked in Tanis Fiber Arts Amber Label (75% merino, 15% cashmere, 10% silk), and shown in size XS.
This pattern has only written instructions, as well as an accessible large print option that is compatible with screen-reading software.
You can buy the pattern through Etsy, in my Web Shop, in my Patreon Shop, or, on Ravelry. The discount is available on all platforms for the month of April! And if you're a Patron, you can download the pattern for free from the Patreon Shop as well!
Now, onto the Crochet-Along Details!
