A
lright, it's time to pull out the knitted things! I've actually been wearing my hats and mittens now, as it's gotten down to 4 C in the evenings.  It's my usual feelings about the cold - I don't like the cold, but I love a reason to pull out all the knitted and crochet things!

And, to keep your hands warm in the cool fall evenings, the Pine Cone Gloves are 50% off for the month of  October!

The Pine Cone Stitch pattern uses only knits and purls to create a fun, textured stitch that I instantly fell in love with!  So it seemed only natural to put these two ideas together to knit up a pair of lightweight gloves in fingering-weight yarn.

These gloves are knit in the round from the cuff up, with the thumb gusset increased in pattern. The fingers are  worked separately in the round, starting with the little finger, while the rest of the stitches for the fingers are placed on scrap yarn or a stitch holder. Once the fingers are finished, the thumb stitches are picked up from scrap yarn or a stitch holder, and then worked in the round.

This pattern has written instructions, and the stitch pattern is both written and charted. This pattern also has an accessible large print option that is compatible with screen-reading software. This option includes only the written instruction.

The Sample was knit in two skeins of *Knit Picks Twill Fingering in "Patchwork Heather" and is shown in size XS.

You can buy the pattern through Etsy, or in my Web Shop, the discount is available on both platforms.

Now, onto the Knit-Along!
