Welcome back to WIPWednesday, with a new cast on!  See, I loved the cable pattern from the Statement Scarf so much, I figured I'd bring it over to a pair of heavy cabled socks!

The cuff of a sock done in 2 by 2 ribbing on Double-Pointed Needles. They're knit in blue worsted-weight yarn, and there's a silver rose stitch marker clipped into the knitting.

These socks will be available to the Pattern Muses over on Patreon (who will also get access to draft patterns, previews, and first-dibs on test-knitting)

Yarn is from All Sorts Acres Farm, and it's a Finn/Gotland/BFL blend that I'm really hoping will work up well for socks!

Needles are my 3.25 mm Aero Double-Points, and it looks like they were the right call for tension. I'm not sure how this yarn will change with blocking, so I'll want to do a test, see what happens when I get it wet and how that impacts the tension.

The *Silver Rose Stitch Marker is one of my favorites from *NotionsEmporium (you've probably seen it on the blog before!) and I'm using it as a beginning/end of round marker.  It's nice because it's a locking stitch marker, so it works really well for working with DPNS.

What have you folks cast on this week -- I'd love to see in the comments!  (Please, no Ravelry project links though, as Ravelry is, unfortunately, still a seizure risk. But IG posts, Facebook posts, blog posts, or anything else is more then welcome)!
