Well, it's been busy and this one almost slipped by the wayside, but the Luckenbach Socks are now available in Issue Ten of Nomadic Knits!

The Luckenbach socks were worked up as part of Nomadic Knits Texas Issue, and I'm thrilled with how they turned out! They come in two versions, one is a tall sock with calf shaping, and one is a shorter sock, without shaping.
They're knit from the cuff-down, with cables along the front and back of the leg, as well as the instep, bordered with honeycomb cables. The heel is a basic heel-flap construction with a picked up gusset, and the toe is grafted with stocking stitch.
Sizes Available: 4 circumferences and 2 heights.
Foot/Leg Circumference: 6.5 (7.25, 8, 8.75) inches (16 (18, 20, 22)) cm
Calf Circumference for Tall version: 11.25 (12, 14.5, 16.25) inches (28 (30, 36, 40.5))cm.
Sample shown as a tall sock with an 8.75 inch (22 cm) foot circumference.
Pattern uses 325 (350, 400, 425) yards (299 (321, 367, 390) meters of fingering weight/sock yarn for the shorter sock, and 560 (640, 720, 800) yards (512 (585, 658, 732) meters) for the tall version.
Sample is knit in Gritty Knits Hombre in "Catahoula" (60% Superwash Merino, 20% Yak, 20% Silk)
