Well, after a bit of a delay, the Garden Trellis Hat Pattern pattern is now available on Payhip, and Etsy, just in time to keep the snow off your head!
These mittens are a sister pattern to the Garden Trellis Fingerless Mittens; done in the same yarn -- the amazing Scuttleship Romney from Bobolink Yarns.
Sample is size M, shown in Scuttleship Romney, in "Pine", and uses 1 to 2 skeins, depending on the size.
The pattern is both written and charted, and, there is a large-print version available as well, that is also compatible with screen-reading technology!
As always, I love seeing what you make! So please, tag your creations on Social Media with #SarahDawnsDesigns, so I can find your awesome things!
If you've got feedback, comments, or questions about the pattern, you can comment here, or e-mail me at sarahdawnsdesigns@gmail.com.
I hope you enjoy the mittens, and happy crafting!

It's a hat in three sizes, designed a touch big to go over headphones, hair braids etc. With simple bobbles and post stitches, it's a good introduction to slightly more 'adventurous' crochet, while still being simple enough to work on while watching tv or commuting on the train!
Head Circumference: 17.5 (22, 26) inches, (44.5, 56, 66 cm)
Hat Depth: 8 (8, 9.5) inches (20.5, 20.5, 24 cm)Sample is size M, shown in Scuttleship Romney, in "Pine", and uses 1 to 2 skeins, depending on the size.
