I've been doing a lot of super-secret knitting for magazines recently, so I can't show you my major knitting projects. . . except now, I can!

Knitting on a circular needle in grey teal yarn. The bottom edge is an eyelet mesh, the body is stocking stitch, and there is a lace panel between two stitch markers.

This is the first look at the Ar Y Traeth Tank (At The Beach), and it's exactly what it sounds like! It's knit in  *Rowan Creative Linen, and I'm really enjoying the yarn!    I got to try it courtesy of LoveCrafts two years ago, and it's a yarn I liked enough that I was happy to have a chance to make this tank top in it!

So it's a pretty simple tank top, as I'm still teaching myself how to grade garments, and it's designed with a lace motif at centre-back, so you can wear it over a tank top, bathing suit, or even with just a camisole.

The needles are a 3.5 mm circular needle (I haven't measured, but I think it's a *24 inch cord) and it's knitting up wonderfully.

With all the good things, I've got one worry  - I'm playing a game of yarn chicken.  I only have three skeins of this yarn, as I got the last three skeins in a *sale offer from Lovecrafts.  So, hopefully that's enough to make a smaller tank top.  According to my math, it -should- be, but I'm cutting it closer then I'd like.  I went down a couple of needle sizes from my initial swatch, so that's messed with my yardage calculations initially.

If I report Yarn Chicken, well, you folks have been warned!

Stitch Markers are *Sea Glass Stitch Markers from *WineMakersSister's Etsy Shop.  I like that the rings on these are solid rings, not jump rings, so, when they say "no-snag", they mean it!

So that's the current new WIP Wed project!  How are your WIP's going?  Show off in the comments!
