So, I realized I hadn't posted my progress on the Ar Lan y Môr Socks! And, excitingly, I have the cuff of the second sock in progress!  I've been neglecting it a bit in favour of other WIPs and some deadline stuff (including some stuff for magazines, so, stay tuned!)

the cuff of a sock on double-pointed needles. The sock is knit in fingering-weight striping yarn, which stripes between teal, royal blue, tan, and grey. There is a stitch marker with a celtic charm clipped into the knitting.
The pattern is the Ar Lan y Môr Socks, published in Knotions Magazine and available on Ravelry.    I want to get these finished so that I can have some more pattern photography -- wish me luck! (And yes, soon it will be to hot to -wear- socks, but they do make very good summer knitting!)

Yarn is the glorious *TurtlePurl Striped Turtle Toes in the colourway "Winter is Coming", which I don't think is available any more, but there's many other glorious colours that are!

Needles are *2.25 mm Hiya Hiya dpns, with one longer needle that I got from a local yarn shop (because who says your dpn sets have to match, right?) I actually do like the longer needles, but they are a bit unwieldy, and the 8 inch ones don't fit in my *my needle cases so, it makes them harder to carry on the subway and streetcar (not that there's been much of that recently!)

The *Celtic Knot Stitch Marker is from *Efficientsense's Etsy Shop -- for those struggling with stitch markers while using double-pointed needles, finding that locking stitch markers exist changed my world!  They use either lobster-claw or earring hook clips, so you can hook them right into your knitting (and they work for crochet, too!)

I hope that you folks are all enjoying the summer weather, and that you're staying safe out there!  Keep Crafting and being awesome!
