Well, just in time for spring, the Cosmic Crochet Cowl Pattern is now available on Ravelry and Etsy!

This cowl came out of a desire to find a crochet stitch pattern suitable for a skein of variegated sock yarn!  Often, variegated yarn can turn into an ugly mess of colours, and I wanted to avoid that, so after much experimentation, the Cosmic Crochet Cowl was born!

With a variable circumference, it can be a close-to-the neck cowl, or a long infinity scarf, the pattern is written for five different sizes/lengths! (Sample shown in the smallest size -- the close-to-the-neck cowl).

Circumference is: 18 (21.5, 25), 28, 32.5 inches (45.5, 54.5, 63.5), 71, 82.5 cm

Sample was done in the (now discontinued) Fleece Artist Sea Wool. If looking for a substitution, Fleece Artist Tree Wool was designed as a substitute, but any fingering/sock yarn will work up well in this.

The patter is both written and charted, and, there is a large-print version available as well, that is also compatible with screen-reading technology! This pattern has been both tested and tech edited.

So, to all the crocheters out there, thank you for waiting, and I hope the new pattern is enjoyable!  I look forward to seeing what you make! So please, tag your creations on Social Media with #SarahDawnsDesigns, so I can find your awesome things!

If you've got feedback, comments, or questions about the pattern, you can comment here, post to the Ravelry Pattern thread, send me a PM on Ravelry, or e-mail me at sarahdawnsdesigns@gmail.com.

I hope you enjoy, and happy crafting!
