Welcome back to WIP Wed! And, the dreaded Christmas Knitting has started (Honestly, I probably should have started sooner!)

Knitting on a set of double-pointed needles The yarn is fingering-weight in shades of green, brown, and deep blue. There is a silver rose stitch marker clipped into the work.
These are a start to the Dragon Scale Gloves. which are based on the same motif as my Silver Dragon Cowl, and they're going to be a Christmas Present!

Yarn is the now-discontinued Fleece Artist Merino 2/6 in "Spruce" that I picked up at a yarn sale a couple of years ago.  It's 100% Merino, but considering I'm knitting it on *2mm (US 0) needles, it is so far coming out quite dense!   Even with the yarn over stitches in the pattern, these should turn out nice and warm for my gift-ee!

Stitch Marker is one of my *Silver Rose Stitch Markers  that I got from *EfficientSense's Etsy Store. It's quite nice for working with DPNs, since the lobster claw means I can clip it right into the work, rather then have it falling off the tip of the dpn.

So who's started their Holiday knitting (and, even more importantly, who's -finished- their holiday knitting?)   Post your successes (or your overambitious projects!), in the comments!
