Well, welcome back to WIP Wed! And today, I'm showing process on my first-ever sweater design! It's not named yet (if you want to name it, hop on over to Patreon and suggest a name)!
I got the pocket flaps knit up and put in -- I don't have -that- much more to go on the body before I split for the underarms! So far, this is knitting up well! (And, I finally figured out that I've been twisting some of my purl stitches, so this is my practice piece not to do that!)

Yarn is Tanis Fiber Arts PureWash Fingering in "Ravine Sea", and I'm liking the yarn and the colour! It's an OOAK (One of a Kind) colour that I got from *Tanis' Etsy Shop (that's where the one-off colours and experiments end up!)
Needles are my Addi 3.75 mm needles; and they're working up well for this, but the tips are sharper then my usual *HiyaHiyas. and so I'm splitting the yarn a bit. Possibly not the best combination, but it's working out ok so far.
The cable you're seeing is actually two 4-stitch cables that are the centre back of the cardigan. I'm hoping I can continue them right up to the hood -- this is where prototyping really helps! It will help me figure out the best way for those cables to work up onto the hood.
The little *silver wing stitch markers are from EfficientSense's Etsy Shop. It's nice ordering from someone who's local-ish to me -- it means that Canada Post is super quick, and I don't have to worry about customs (99% of the time, stitch markers aren't a problem for customs; but that 1% of the time, a package takes a while from the US).
Ok, that's it for this week's WIP! And, as always, I'd love to see what you're working on, too, so, please, feel free to post links to your projects in the comments, so I can see all the amazing things that you folks make! Also, if you're working on one of my patterns, tag it as #sarahdawnsdesigns so I can find you on Social Media and stare at your awesome projects!
Until next week, and Happy Crafting!
