Well, welcome back to WIP Wed! This week, I've gone back to the Symbol Gloves, while I try and get the Marianna Shawl done and out for test-knitting (Hoping for a test-knit call some time next week, if all goes well)

A double-knit fingerless glove on double pointed needles. Two fingers are complete and another finger is on the needles. A sewn double-pointed needle case is just behind.
So my actual big project for this week I can't tell you about yet (sssh!  It's a secret!  More will be forthcoming as soon as I can talk about it!)    But, I've also gotten further on the fingers on the Symbol Gloves!  I'm working on the fourth finger now, and I've figured out a much neater way to pick up stitches from the cast-on edges (it does involve the dreaded "pick up and purl", but it's not too bad!

Yarn is *Northbound Knitting Superwash Merino/Nylon Fingering, in "Littoria" and "Espresso".   Not my usual colour palette, I know, but these were a requested project and are a gift, so, I picked out what my gift-ee wanted!   Needles are my *HiyaHiya 2mm dpns. and they're working out well -- I was originally worried that the 2 mm needles would be too dense, but not at all, the fabric is working up well!

And the *DPN needle case I got from *SewSandySew has been -so- helpful, especially as the fingers got more fiddly.  Much less losing the needles in transit (or even to feline 'helpers' around the house!)

Well, as always, I'd love to see what you're working on, so, please, feel free to post links to your projects in the comments, so I can see all the amazing things that you folks make! Also, if you're working on one of my patterns, tag it as #sarahdawnsdesigns so I can find you on Social Media!

Until next week, and Happy Crafting!
