Well, welcome back to WIP Wed! This week, I've gone back to the Symbol Gloves!  The Marianna Shawl is done and blocked -- pictures coming soon!

This week, I've separated out for the fingers on the second of the Symbol Gloves.  The first glove is, in fact, done (except for the thumb), but I forgot to do the fingers on it, so I've got to unravel and do that first.   Figured it was better to do the fingers on this one, first!

Double-Knit Gloves laying on a computer keyboard. The top of the glove has been separated into two fingers, with the remaining stitches on a stitch holder.
Honestly, they're a bit messy.  The picking up of stitches means that a few things are showing through where the fingers join together.  I'm glad these are a proof of concept.

That said, the yarn is working out well.  I was worried how well it would work up with the picking up of stitches -- I have to pick up purlwise for the green side of the work, and wasn't sure if the yarn would cooperate, but it does!  Yarn is  *Northbound Knitting Superwash Merino/Nylon Fingering, in "Littoria" and "Espresso". I was worried it would be too dense on 2 mm needles, but it's not!  Needles are my *HiyaHiya 2mm dpns. and they're working out well.

Quick update, I know, but I wanted to get something out today -- I've missed the last few WIP Wed posts, mostly due to the busyness that was Holy Week.

As always, I'd love to see what you're working on, so, please, feel free to post links to your projects in the comments, so I can see all the amazing things. Also, if you're working on one of my patterns, tag it as #sarahdawnsdesigns so I can find you on Social Media!

Until next week, and Happy Crafting!
