Well, welcome back to WIP Wed, everyone!   The Polar Vortex seems to have broken (though folks say it has merely shifted west, so my apologies to everyone who is now shivering!)  And the Marianna Shawl is still growing.

I've finished the set-up chart, and it came to 143 rows.  That's. . . bigger then I would have preferred, is the polite way of saying that.  I'll definitely have to split the chart up when I get to the final pattern draft.  The newest version of the chart has been posted for the Pattern Muses over on Patreon,   I think I corrected the mistakes in the last version (I hope!)

I may have been over-ambitious in my planning -- I don't think this will be an April release -- I'm hoping for May at this point.  And the simple explanation is that I completely underestimated how long it would take me to knit 1300 yards of lace!  Each round is about 300+ stitches now, so this is going to be wonderfully huge, which is exactly what I was hoping for, I just failed at time estimation.

Yarn is *Knit Picks Gloss Lace in "Marina", which is a lace-weight 70% Merino and 30% silk. The colour is discontinued, sadly, but Gloss Lace is still available!   It's tangled a bit a the the end of my centre-pull ball, but has held up quite well, even with some tinking and frogging!

The *Silver Dolphin Stitch marker is from EfficientSense's Etsy Store. while the Chainmaille Stitch Markers are from *Knitters' Nook!  And both are working quite well with the lace -- I've had a few moments where the lace yarn has caught, but nothing elaborate or hard to untangle, which was one of my worries.

Anyway, I think that's it for this week's WIP Wed update!  Thanks for reading along!  And, as always, I'd love to see what you're working on -- please, feel free to post links to your projects in the comments, so I can see all the amazing things. Also, if you're working on one of my patterns, tag it as #sarahdawnsdesigns so I can find you on Social Media!
