Well, welcome back to WIP Wed, everyone! I've been travelling, and knitting on the train -- and the Marianna Shawl is still growing!    It's getting harder and harder to show this off in photographs -- the photos don't really do it justice anymore since it's so scrunched up on the needles.
A lace shawl on a circular needle, sitting in a wooden yarn bowl. The lace yarn is dyed to a deep blue-green, and there are many stitch markers along the circular needle.

It's come up to about 320 stitches around, and I'm still not through the setup!  It's gotten big enough that I've had to order additional stitch markers -- I've decided on *these ones from WineMaker's Sister, because the rings are completely solid (they're not jump rings) and won't snag on the lace-weight yarn.

I'm still hopeful this can be a late April or early May release, it's really going to depend on how long it takes me to finish it, and how long it takes to test and edit.  I'm hoping a 2 month testing cycle will give folks enough time for it, but that still depends on how long it takes me to finish this.

So, I've wound and attached in my second skein of this yarn, which is *Knit Picks Gloss Lace in "Marina", which is a lace-weight 70% Merino and 30% silk. The colour is discontinued, sadly, but Gloss Lace is still available! My second skein is a bit tangled in the centre, but that's user-error, I think!

The stitch markers I'm currently using come from a couple different makers -- Fibremancy makes the earring-back ones, and the chainmaille Stitch Markers are from *Knitters' Nook!

Anyway, I think that's it for this week's WIP Wed update, and I'm sorry it was so much later in the day!

And, as always, I'd love to see what you're working on -- please, feel free to post links to your projects in the comments, so I can see all the amazing things. Also, if you're working on one of my patterns, tag it as #sarahdawnsdesigns so I can find you on Social Media!
