Well, welcome back to WIP Wed, everyone!  I'm still working away on the Marianna Shawl, but it's (finally) getting close to done!  I'm at row 132 of 142, but each row is over 420 stitches now, so it's taking a while!  I'm not sure if I will get 10 more rows out of the last of skein two, but I should be able to finish the shawl.

A shawl on a circular needle, tucked into a yarn bowl. A person has their hand behind the shawl, showing the mesh lace pattern and two stitch markers.
I have a plan for the edging -- I'm going to do a sideways edging with double moss stitch and some eyelets.  The exact form of this will be up to the Pattern Muses over on Patreon -- I'll post up a few pattern repeats and see what folks think, if they like it, I'll post the edging chart for Patrons, and finish the shawl!

Given that this is coming together, it looks like it should be a late April or early May release.  I hope I can give my testers enough time to finish it -- folks, would two months be a reasonable test-knit time for this?  Thoughts?

Yarn is skein two of three of my stash  *Knit Picks Gloss Lace in "Marina", -- 70% Merino, 30% silk.  It's a gorgeous yarn, frogs well, and winds up well.  My second skein did have some yarn barf (or "yarf" as it's been called on Twitch!), but I attribute that to user-error -- I'm the person who wound it, after all!   It wasn't too bad, and I just hand-balled the other end.  Took about 20 minutes while watching Netflix.

Stitch markers from a bunch of different makers, but the majority (and both the ones that you can see here), are from *Fibremancy -- the earring backs make them nicely versatile to use with a bunch of needle sizes (and I could use them with crochet, too!

Anyway, I think that's it for this week's WIP Wed update!  Stay warm in all the snow and rain out there, and I'd love to see what you're working on to keep warm and snuggly!   So, please, feel free to post links to your projects in the comments, so I can see all the amazing things. Also, if you're working on one of my patterns, tag it as #sarahdawnsdesigns so I can find you on Social Media!
