Pattern Sales: Ravelry:
I operate an Etsy Store through Etsy.com, and you can view their policy here. I do have access to customer data on Etsy, and I use that data for the purposes of fulfilling orders, taxes and finances, legal requirements, and other business purposes. I do not download any customer data from Etsy to my computer. I will submit customer data as necessary to Canada Post for shipping purposes, (name, mailing address, etc). I do receive e-mails from Etsy when a sale is made with some customer data, I archive those e-mails in my g-mail account for up to 7 years in case they are required. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Payments and Transactions:
When you contact me by e-mail, that e-mail will never be re-distributed and is not stored on my computer. I store those e-mails in my g-mail account, so that I can use the information provided for the purposes of running and improving my business. These e-mails are never shared, resold, or added to any mailing lists.
I maintain a list of my of my test-knitters and crocheters on Google Drive, (which is part of Google Cloud and Privacy Shield Certified), but the only personal data stored is your Ravelry Username. If you do not want your Ravelry username stored on this document, then you can contact me to have your username removed from my list of test-knitters and crocheters. Those names will only be used through the Ravelry message system to contact people who have signed up to be notified of testing calls.
I do use affiliate links on my blog, and other locations, and you may find their privacy policies here, here, and here. While I have limited access to customer data, depending on what the service collects and makes visible to me, I do not download any of it. The only information I record is the sales data.
All of my affiliate links are marked with an asterisk(*) and place a cookie on your computer after clicking the link. You can remove these cookies by following the instructions for your browser.
Third Party Data Transfer:
If I am transferring customer data, it is usually done through services within Google Cloud, which is Privacy Shield Certified.
